Year 12 students

I have looked through your training analysis sessions, there is some very good work, some work that needs a bit of improvement and some work that is missing.  If it is missing then it is unacceptable, the deadlines are there to assist you with achieving the best possible mark that you can.  You know what is due in and when it is due in, outlined in the previous document.
The deadlines for next Sunday stand and will be hit by everyone, if people continue to not hit deadlines then it will be a build up of work and the overall quality of the final product will suffer.

The feedback for any work that has been completed is now in your 'support materials' folder in dropbox.

Please find the schedule for hand ins on the document below.
A reminder on the strengths & weaknesses work we spoke about in todays lesson.

Complete a performance profiling wheel (a sample wagon wheel can be found in your shared resources folder in your drop box account).  Complete the outside sections of the wheel for Physiological & Psychological areas that are important for you as a performer in your sport.
Have two finished wheels, one completed by you and the other completed by your coach handed in by lunchtime on Sunday 4th March.

You are then in a position to complete your analysis looking at the different sub groups of Physiological, Psychological, Mechanical & Technical (from your notation & technical work) & Tactical.

Some work for the lesson I am away, along with some additional revision work. Ensure you prepare for the exam on the first day back. Have a good week off.

If you did not finish off the application of Caron's 4 dimensional model from the last lesson, ensure this is also completed.

The BBC are currently doing a 30 part series on 'Sport & the British'.  The series covers a lot of the points that you will be looking at in the Development of Competitive Sport section with Mrs Bell.  The link to the page is below.  Each programme is only 15 minutes long.

A couple of interesting articles you may want to look through for revision purposes.
One on heat acclimitisation and one on psychology of winning.  Useful for application of practical examples.

Reminder, the next work due in on Sunday are your training analysis sessions.  If for some reason you are unable to get these to me by Sunday then please see me by the end of this week.

You will also need to complete an evaluation, this can only be done after you have retested yourself.  Both of my lessons next week (Sunday & Thursday) will be available for you to retest yourself in the components you have been working on to improve.  You can complete the retesting or continue in the 'pod'.
The evaluation can be completed once your second notation on yourself is finished and you can make reference to any improvement in the skill component.

Ensure your sessions are in the dropbox folder by the end of lunchtime on Sunday.
To assist you with your evaluation, as you write it, I have added an exemplar to a 'support material' folder which is in each of your dropbox folders.  Please keep checking this folder as I add more materials.

Finally, the following is how I want you to arrange each of your dropbox folders to ensure all work is up to date and in a logical order.

Make sure to ask if you have any questions.

The following Prezi work may be useful for revision for your upcoming exam along with reminding you of some adaptations for your Development Plan.
Along with the online journals you should have found more resources on the library wider reading list.
As a department we also have a number of different textbooks you can access, if you want to have a look through them then please ask one of the members of the PE department.
