Year 12 students - revision

Can I please refer you to the previous post stating your revision slots.

It specifies that you are to contact us if you are unable to attend the session.  You are supposed to have had two sessions.  Three students sent their apologies for today but we were still expecting 4 of you.

Work is being prepared and it is extremely frustrating if no one then turns up.

Looking at recent exam marks I would suggest you attend every available session as work has to be done.

Year 12 students

You will have received an email yesterday with final points to improve your 2.4 work.  If these improvements are made you will not be far off full marks for the sections.

A reminder, tomorrows lesson is on.  We will be ensuring all elements are in the correct format.
You will also need to bring in your videos for your practical activities as these will be moderated this week.

CD burning is on Thursday after school.  It usually lasts around 2 hours, potentilly more time if you have technical difficulties.  Ensure you have arranged pick up times from school on Thursday accordingly.

A revision schedule for the two weeks between you finishing on Thursday and your final AS exam will be with you this week.

Work through the different estimations for working out the energy balance someone would require to complete various tasks. The amount of METS attributed to different levels of activities can be found on page 41. Understanding the amount of calories you are putting in and what you would require for a task assist you with maintaining a healthy weight along with staying sufficiently fueled for your sport or activity.
